A unique Night Song event featuring "Crucifixus" by New Jersey composer John F. Cavallaro. The work is seven meditations on the crucifixion for TBB a cappella, based on themes from Gregorian Chant. Each meditation will be paired with a poem by Irene Zimmerman and a jazz improvisation by Ben Schwendener, piano, with Uwe Steinmetz, guest saxophonist from Berlin, Germany.
